QTRA stands for Quantified Tree Risk Assessment. It is a structured methodology used by qualified arborists to evaluate the risk posed by trees, based on three parameters:
- the probability of failure
- the probability of impact on a person or target
- the likely consequences of that impact
The result is a quantified risk rating that supports documented, defensible risk management decisions.
